Bruna: Growing up in a coffee family and community in Brazil, I was so lucky to be able to explore many possibilities in the industry from roasting, research, exporting and importing. Despite calling London home, I return to Brazil as much as I can to work alongside my family’s business (costacafe.com.br). Now as a director and co-founder of Bossa Coffee Company I aim to continue my journey in coffee and connect my two Worlds. I have personal interest in sensory science and have Q-Grader certification and WSET 3 wine certification.

Emma: I came from a creative background and entered the coffee world ten years ago when I moved to the UK from New Zealand starting in green commercial coffee. My journey then led to speciality imports and more recently high-end coffee auctions. I also have a curiosity in sensory science as a Q-Grader and have done judging for various coffee competitions. As a co-founder of Bossa Coffee Company I aim to harmonise our vision with origin and our local specialty scene to create a supply chain that meets everyone’s needs.
